Care For Uganda

Riverside Church is closely involved with the charity 'Care for Uganda' which was founded in 2001.

It works mainly in the Luwero District of Uganda and has its headquarters in the bush village of Bbowa. It works in partnership with the local community and other agencies seeking to wipe out poverty through sustainable development. Members of Riverside work in Uganda as volunteers through the charity’s Development Support Programmes.

Each year for the last three years, the charity has raised over £100,000.
